If you are interested in taking a golf vacation, you should consider going to Myrtle Beach. With tons of activities in the golf vacation area, Myrtle Beach is a great place to spend a family vacation. There are tons of adventurous trips aside from golf that can help you enjoy your Myrtle Beach vacation.

For example, one great way to enjoy the grand Strand area and your family vacation is to check out the Myrtle Beach State Park. This is four miles south on Highway 17, has 312 acres of beaches and oceanfront land. Activities include camping, renting a cabin, picnicking, fishing and visiting the nature center, not to mention all the swimming, beachcombing and other water activities you can enjoy on the one mile stretch of beach. Take a hike on the 4.4-mile Sculptured Oak Nature Trail for a close-up look at native foliage and wildlife. Huntington Beach is the other nearby state park, three miles south of Murrells Inlet on Highway 17.
